Owner or Admin

Remove an asset from the live inventory with soft delete and restore it when it is needed again.

Before you start

Role needed: Owner or Admin. Ask an Owner if an action is unavailable.

1

Delete from the asset record

Open the asset and choose Delete Asset. Review the confirmation and continue only when the tool should leave the live inventory.

Example asset detail header. QR artwork and account profile information are outside the crop.
2

Find the deleted record

Choose Deleted Items in the app navigation. Search the deleted list if needed and verify the asset name before restoring it.

Synthetic example item shown; the Restore action was not selected.
3

Restore when it returns to service

Choose Restore on the correct record and confirm. The asset returns to the live Assets list; check its status, location, and current custody before use.
