Business Audit Logs, Physical Audits, and Asset History

You can open the customer-facing history or audit that answers the operational question without confusing these records.

Tell apart recorded business activity, an asset's custody history, and a physical inventory audit.

Before you start

Role needed: any signed-in member. Ask an Owner if an action is unavailable.

Use Checkout History for custody

Open an asset to review its Checkout History. It shows the recorded assignments and returns for that asset.

Use Maintenance History for work on a tool

The same asset page shows maintenance records and their statuses, dates, and any attached issue photos.

Use Audits for physical verification

Choose Audits to review a Location or Assignee snapshot, scans, Found/Missing/Unexpected results, and explicit reconciliation.

Understand business audit logging

OrbitEquip records business activity for selected administrative actions. The current APP does not expose a customer-facing page to browse the full business audit-log table. Use the visible asset history or Audits page for the workflows above.
