Temporarily stop a recurring schedule without deleting its history or the asset record.

Before you start

Role needed: Owner or Admin. Ask an Owner if an action is unavailable.

Plan needed: This task is available on Free. Existing records may remain available after a downgrade; see the plan guide for details.

1

Find the recurring schedule

Open the asset detail and find Recurring Maintenance Schedules. Review the active/paused state and Next Due date.

An active schedule shows its frequency, next due date, and current occurrence.
2

Pause or resume

Select Pause Recurrence to pause it. Select Resume Recurrence when the preventive schedule should continue again.

A paused schedule stays on the asset and can be resumed.
3

Check the next due date

Confirm the schedule card shows the expected state and date. When its current occurrence is resolved, OrbitEquip creates the next occurrence using the configured interval.
